Egress / data-transfer cost calculator
Enter how much data you serve out of the cloud each month and this calculator estimates the egress bill on every provider, side by side and ranked cheapest first. Free-egress clouds (Cloudflare R2, Wasabi) show $0; AWS, Google Cloud and Azure charge per GB after a small free allowance. The maths is a transparent (GB − free) × rate — nothing is uploaded. All figures are estimates.
Data as of June 2026.

Frequently asked questions
How is the egress bill calculated?
For each provider we take your monthly GB out, subtract the free allowance the vendor publishes, and multiply the remainder by the egress $/GB rate. Providers with $0 egress (Cloudflare R2, Wasabi) always show $0. The result is a transparent estimate — real bills also include cross-region, inter-AZ and per-request costs.
Why does Cloudflare R2 show $0 no matter the volume?
Because R2 genuinely does not charge for egress to the internet. You pay only for storage and operations. That is why R2 is so attractive for download-heavy workloads.
Are these the real prices I'll pay?
They are list-price estimates as of June 2026. Hyperscaler egress is tiered and tapers at high volume, and enterprise discounts can apply. Always confirm on the provider's pricing page before committing spend.
